We're Miles and Josh. It's nice to see you here. Our mission is to amplify the global impact of the Claremont community. We do this by investing in the next generation of great Claremont businesses.
I work closely with our founders and LPs to bring the next generation of Claremont businesses to market.
I began my technology career helping to launch and run an accelerator for international entrepreneurs. I subsequently partnered with early-stage founders as an investor at two VC firms and was an early business development hire at a Sequoia-backed start-up before founding StoryHouse Ventures. I've led early investments in over fifty companies, including Xos Trucks (NASDAQ: XOS), Gabi (Acq, Experian), Alloy (fintech unicorn), Imperfect Foods (Acq, Misfit Foods), and many others.
I lead our fund operations, analytics, content, and behind-the-scenes work to support our founders, LPs, and Miles.
I grew up in the heart of the Midwest and started my career bailing hay and driving mowers. I took that hard work and sleeves-rolled-up mentality to Claremont and, now, the technology world. Before helping found StoryHouse with Miles, I worked on the analytics team of Battery Ventures-backed parking startup SpotHero and in Apple's Corporate Finance Group.
